Need for Speed Shift is the 13th installment in the famous video game series Need for speed. In conjunction with EA Bright Light, Slightly Mad Studios developed the game. Electronic Arts published the game and released it on 15 September 2009. Rather than arcade racing, the NFS shift focuses on the simulation genre. Need for Speed Shift features over 60 cars which are divided into four tiers. Entry-level luxury and sports cars like Infiniti G35 and Audi TT are included in tier 1. In tier 2 mid-level performance cars are kept. Tier 3 refers to Lamborghini Gallardo and other supercars. However, tier 4 is the most awesome. Because it features hyper cars like Pagani Zonda R, or Bugatti Veyron. The performance is included in the car customization option as well as cosmetics and is more in-depth than previous games. Aerodynamics, differential, gears, tires, brakes, and alignment can be upgraded in NFS shift.
Need for Speed Shift was developed in 2 years. Total 19 real-world tracks are included in the game such as the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife, Spa, Road America, Donington Park, Willow Springs, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Autopolis, and Brands Hatch. In addition to bug fixes, EA promised to release that patches which include new features such as play and mouse support, LAN play. Also added 5 new cars in Nfs shift including Dodge Challenger R/T, 1967 Corvette, 1969 Dodge Charger R/T, and Toyota Supra Mk IV. A new online racing mode is also included known as Team Racing.
